The COVID-19 pandemic has brought unprecedented challenges for couples planning their weddings. With restrictions on gatherings and travel, many couples have had to scale down their plans or postpone their weddings altogether. However, despite the uncertainty and difficulties, some couples have decided to move forward with their wedding plans, adapting to the times and making the most of what they have.

I have been contemplating whether a COVID wedding in Copenhagen City Hall deserves a place in my gallery. After much consideration, I decided that it does, as it's a part of history and a testament to the resilience and strength of couples who have had to adapt their plans to fit the times.

Claudia and Christian, a Spanish-Danish couple, were among those who decided to tie the knot during the pandemic. Their wedding ceremony was intimate, with under 12 of their closest family members in attendance due to restrictions at the time. However, the love and joy in the room were palpable, and it was a beautiful moment to witness.

After the ceremony and a round of heartfelt greetings from their guests, we continued the photo session in their central neighbourhood of Vesterbro. As we strolled through the vibrant neighbourhood, Claudia and Christian couldn't help but dance and laugh together, creating a beautiful energy that translated into relaxed wedding photographs. It is always so rewarding to capture moments that truly reflect the couple's personalities and relationship.
