Heidi + Mark’s wedding celebration in Copenhagen
Heidi and Mark, an American-British couple, got married in Copenhagen during the summer. They had their official ceremony at Copenhagen City Hall, followed by a cozy celebration with toasts and cake in Copenhagen City Hall Gardens. Even though it was a small gathering, their closest friends and family traveled from far and wide to join in their special day.
We started off at the stylish and modern 25 Hours Hotel, where I had the privilege of capturing Heidi's preparations and the couple's emotional first look. Watching Mark's face light up when he saw Heidi in her wedding gown was simply priceless!
From there, we made our way to Copenhagen City Hall, a quick 10-minute drive away from the hotel. We arrived just on time before their scheduled ceremony — the offical was already looking for the happy couple. The ceremony was an emotional and heartwarming affair, with the couple exchanging rings and sharing vows. Everyone in the room was moved to tears (including myself!).
Following the ceremony, we snapped some sweet and intimate portraits of the couple while the guests headed to the city hall gardens to prepare drinks for the celebration. As Heidi and Mark was particularly interested in capturing the atmosphere and the love that they shared with their family members, we didn’t take long to join other guests in the garden — they were already waiting with cups of champagne and excitement in their eyes. After the toast, we took a few more shots of the couple and the group.
And with that, I left the couple to celebrate their new chapter in life with their loved ones. Congratulations to H + M, and cheers to a lifetime of happiness!
