My Style & Approach

Documentary ∙ Candid ∙Collaborative ∙Relaxed

When we shooting together, it’s my number one priority to make you feel comfortable, freezing the moment in its truest form. Will you be given prompts and directions? Heck yeah! Will you be asked to sit stiff and say cheese? Well, not so much ... Personally, I think it's great to have a mix of candidly captured emotions as well as more directed shots. As a Copenhagen Photographer, I believe my duty is to capture those emotions with my unique style!

I prefer to shoot in natural light and love a good shadow play. So, to the question whether I do studio photography, my answer is no - I'm not a big fan of plain backdrops and artificial lighting. But do I only offer my photography services outdoors? Of course not! Many people think that natural light is only possible when shooting outdoors and let me tell you, they are wrong. I done hundreds lifestyle sessions in people's houses, getting the most out of the available natural light even during winter time, and , in fact, majority of those sessions are in my favourites list (yep, I have one!). Some of them can be found on my blog as well.

If I was given three unique words to describe my photography style its artsy, fresh and fun and I’m constantly working to find new, creative ways to evoke emotion.

The process

How does it work?

1 — ENQUIRE

Reach out with a short intro about yourself / the service (wedding / elopement or lifestyle) you're interested in via contact form. I’ll provide you with the interactive PDF of my availability and pricing/process. If we find a common ground, then I would like to “break the ice”by jumping on a phone call / meeting for a coffee. You might like to use this time to ask any questions you may have and set shooting boundaries / expectations.

2 — LOGISTICS

You select the photo package that best suits your needs and we align on a shoot date, location, and, if preferred, set up a call to discuss the details. For weddings which are longer than 4+ hours I always advise to meet in-person.

3 — WAITING

About a week (or a few days) before our appointment, I will send you a quick email to check-in just to see how you are doing along with some tips & guides to get the most out of the session. Remember, I take a very relaxed approach, so no set of strict rules, just words of advice! :)

4 — SHOOT DAY

The fun part! Aesthetically aligned, mentally prepared, and details taken care of, we are ready for everything to come together. Come with an open, positive mindset and leave the magic up to me. No one needs to worry how she/he looks like or what they should be doing. I am here to help you through any of those fears. Your only job: relax and embrace the moment. Simple as that!

5 — DELIVERABLES

The fun part! Aesthetically aligned, mentally prepared, and details taken care of, we are ready for everything to come together. Come with an open, positive mindset and leave the magic up to me. No one needs to worry how she/he looks like or what they should be doing. I am here to help you through any of those fears. Your only job: relax and embrace the moment. Simple as that!
