Sometimes it feels like I've photographed every possible elopement story you can imagine. Americans falling in love with Copenhagen's charm, Australians discovering our cosy streets, Indian-German celebrations mixing the best of both worlds. I've been there for January 2nd ceremonies (yes, really!) and last-minute December 31st "let's just do this" moments. Twenty-year-olds saying yes and sixty-year-olds finally making it official. Secret elopements, family elopements, elopements with kids running around – you name it, I've probably captured it.
And honestly? It's always so much fun. I genuinely love getting to know you – how you two met, what makes you laugh, why you picked Copenhagen for your big day. Because here's the thing: you're eloping, and these photos are a gift to yourselves. You're here with your favourite person, and I'd love to feel like your friend who just happens to be really good with a camera.
Why I never get tired of Copenhagen elopements
Even after five years of photographing Copenhagen elopements, I don't know every secret spot or hidden gem – that's where you come in! I love when couples invite me to explore with them. Maybe you found this perfect little café, or there's a street that just feels right to you. Let's discover it together.
Winter sessions are usually shorter (1-1.5 hours) because, let's be honest, it's cold! But summer? That's when we can really wander. Long photo walks, popping into those places that matter to you, maybe grabbing actual coffee along the way. Some couples want to spend 4 hours with me – don't worry, we're not posing for 4 straight hours! We'll do things you actually enjoy while I capture it all.
What Can You Expect Working With Me?
I'll be honest – I'm not a very formal person, so expect totally relaxed vibes. Extra bonus points if you love traveling, have a creative background, or are into entrepreneurship (we'll have SO much to talk about!)
