Wedding Celebration in Malmö’s Slottsträdgården
Belinda and Paul chose a sunny Friday morning at the end of summer to exchange their vows in Slottsträdgården, a beautiful park in Central Malmö. With only a handful of guests joining them in person, they had planned a small civil ceremony that felt personal and relaxed. Although their families couldn’t travel to Sweden, they found a lovely way to include them in the celebration from afar.
When Belinda first contacted me, she mentioned how much she liked my documentary approach to wedding photography. She and Paul wanted their day to be captured naturally, with attention to the emotions, little interactions and moments that would help them share the experience with their families afterwards.
Belinda and Paul kept their ceremony intimate, with a few guests, the officiant and their witnesses gathered around them. Alongside the official ceremony, they exchanged heartfelt personal vows, which made the occasion even more emotional. Throughout the morning, family and friends from other parts of the world joined online, allowing them to witness the wedding even though they couldn’t be there in person.
After the ceremony, everyone moved to nearby picnic tables for a small celebration. There was champagne, snacks and cake, and plenty of time to enjoy the sunny morning together. I continued photographing the little moments as they happened, from conversations and laughter to Belinda and Paul enjoying their first moments as a married couple.
Congratulations to Belinda and Paul! I am so glad I could photograph their wedding and help them share these memories with the people who couldn’t be there ♥️
