I’m Ieva Vi, a professional Copenhagen engagement photographer. I’ve helped to plan and documented more than 40 secret (and successful!) proposals across the city — and yes, I'm keeping a perfect record, no rejected proposals on my watch! Copenhagen has a ton of places to offer for engagement photos, and I totally get how overwhelming it can feel — especially if it’s your first time here! That’s why I never jump straight into picking a spot. Instead, I take time to get to know you first. Your story, your vibe, your travel plans — all of that helps us land on a location that feels just right. Sure, iconic places like Nyhavn, Christianshavn, or Kongens Have are always stunning, but if you have a “story behind”, I may be able to introduce you to some lesser-known gems. The photos you see on this page and / or my blog recommendations can spark some ideas, though.

Yes, video options are available. You can choose between phone video or professional camera recording (highlight video).
Should I Propose During The Photoshoot Or Plan A Secret Proposal?
There's no one-size-fits-all answer to this question. From my experience, secret proposals are more common, but both approaches have their merits. You can read my detailed comparison of both session types here.
What If It Rains?
We can reschedule to a later time that same day or consider another date if needed. That said, proposals in light rain can actually be quite magical! Take a look at rainy proposal example here!
Is It Possible To Photograph Just The Proposal Moment?
Absolutely! While many couples enjoy a photo walk (engagement photos) afterwards, we can certainly focus on capturing just the proposal moment if that's your preference.
