Engagement at The Royal Library Garden, Copenhagen
Royal Library Garden Engagement sessions are especially lovely in late May, when Copenhagen evenings are long and there is plenty of time for a relaxed walk and sunset photos. Laura and Jake travelled from the USA for a few days in Copenhagen, and Jake had a special plan for their trip: he was going to propose to his girlfriend in the Royal Library Garden, also known as Det Kongelige Biblioteks Have.
Late May can be a great time for an engagement in Copenhagen, and Jake was lucky to have a beautiful evening for his proposal. The garden was busier than usual that day, which is one of those things you can only really predict to a certain point. Even with careful planning, you never quite know how busy a popular spot will be when the moment arrives.
Laura had no idea what was about to happen. When Jake proposed, she covered her mouth in complete surprise and stood there taking it all in. Seeing her reaction and being there to photograph those first few moments after the proposal was such a lovely part of their Royal Library Garden engagement.
Afterwards, we took a short stroll through the garden before heading towards Christiansborg Palace and Marble Bridge. With the sun still shining, we had time for a few more photos together before I left them to enjoy the rest of their evening as a newly engaged couple!
