Denmark Surprise Proposal at The Royal Library Garden
You already know how much I love photographing secret proposals at this cosy small garden of the Royal Library. After a brief phone chat with Justin to discuss his expectations, we strategically chose one of the quiet corners—away from the popular fountain area—for maximum privacy.
Justin had flown in from the States with a mission: surprise Denise during their Copenhagen visit. What seemed like a casual Friday dinner plan became the perfect cover for his proposal. On their way to the restaurant, he stopped in the garden and popped the question.
The secluded setting provided exactly what they needed—an intimate moment without distractions. Since capturing just the proposal was their priority, I discreetly stepped away after the celebration, letting the newly engaged couple savor this milestone privately.
Fun fact: The Royal Library Garden is actually part of the historic Royal Library complex, known as the "Black Diamond"—making your proposal photos part of Denmark's literary heritage!
