For Laura, a Copenhagen-based copywriter, this branding photoshoot was a chance to refresh the images on her website and social media while creating a collection of photographs that felt personal to her.

She had a clear vision for the session: a clean and minimal aesthetic, soft earthy tones and images that felt natural rather than overly posed. We decided to create a mix of professional branding photos in Copenhagen and more personal photographs that captured Laura outside of her work.

Personal Branding Photography in Copenhagen

We started the branding photography in Copenhagen at Laura’s home, creating professional images she could use across her website and social media.

I always enjoy photographing people in places that feel familiar to them, and Laura’s home was a natural choice. It gave us a chance to create images that felt connected to her everyday life as a copywriter, rather than placing her in a studio or somewhere that did not feel like her.

We included simple details from her daily routine, such as her laptop, phone and a newspaper. These little touches helped tell the story of her work while keeping the photographs relaxed and natural.

Once we had created the images Laura needed for her business, we changed direction and headed to a nearby park with her new puppy. The second part of the session was much more personal, giving us the chance to capture Laura away from her desk and document this lovely new chapter in her life.

There was more movement, more laughter and plenty of spontaneous moments as Laura spent time with her new four-legged family member. These photographs had a completely different feeling from the professional portraits, but they were just as meaningful.

I think this is one of the nicest things about a branding photoshoot. You can create the professional images you need for your website and social media while still making space for the parts of your life that make you who you are. For Laura, that meant having photographs that represented her work as a copywriter, alongside a personal collection that captured life at home and the excitement of welcoming a new puppy.
