Celebrating your wedding anniversary in Copenhagen and thinking about a wedding anniversary photoshoot in Superkilen Copenhagen? Charmaine and MC did exactly that during their trip, and I loved being part of it!
They travelled from the UAE and wanted something relaxed to mark both their time in the city and their anniversary.
If you have not been, Superkilen in Nørrebro is one of those locations that immediately stands out. It is bold, colourful, and full of character, with design elements brought in from different parts of the world. You will find everything from sculptural benches to graphic lines and unexpected details, which makes it a great choice for couples who want something a bit different from the usual Copenhagen look. It is also easy to reach and perfect for shorter sessions, especially if you are visiting the city.
Their Superkilen Couple Photoshoot
Their session felt easy from the start. We spent around half an hour walking through the park, stopping wherever something caught our eye. The setting naturally gave us variety, but what really made it work was them. They were completely themselves, laughing, moving, and just enjoying the moment together. That kind of energy always translates into photos in the best way.
One of the things I enjoy most about anniversary sessions like this is how simple they can be. You do not need a full-day plan or multiple locations. A strong setting, a bit of time, and the right mood are more than enough. Superkilen fits that perfectly, especially if you want something modern and slightly unexpected.
After we wrapped up, I left them to continue their day in Nørrebro, which is full of great cafés and small spots to explore. It felt like a natural way to keep the celebration going.
