Planning Same-Sex Wedding in Copenhagen
Sjømannskirken (The Sailor's Church) in Copenhagen is one of the most beloved venues for Norwegian couples to tie the knot. When Christian and Vidar contacted me in early autumn about their upcoming intimate ceremony at Sjømannskirken, I was thrilled. They wanted to keep the ceremony small and meaningful, inviting just a few family members for a natural and brief celebration.
Their wedding took place during the late autumn, a time known for its challenging weather, with peak darkness and strong winds. Therefore, I suggested 1.5 hours of photo coverage. Following the short ceremony, which lasted about 30 minutes, we planned to take some formal portraits in the nearby Envelopperparken.
