During summertime, the tradition of a cake smash photoshoot often takes on a new form. Amber's family chose an alternative approach to celebrate their little one's first birthday by opting for a photowalk in Ørstedsparken. Instead of a typical indoor studio session with birthday decorations and cake, they wanted to commemorate the day with a less traditional approach — capturing candid and casual portraits that focus on the moment rather than staged indoor photography.

Our morning birthday session unfolded in Ørstedsparken, where we were fortunate to have the playground and other kid-beloved areas all to ourselves, free from bustling city noise and prying eyes. To add a special touch, Amber also incorporated balloon as minimal decorations for the photoshoot.
