Theresa and Steven contacted me for newborn photos in Copenhagen after welcoming their second child in late spring. As a Norwegian-American couple, they wanted to document this special time with their growing family through a more natural, lifestyle approach rather than traditional studio newborn photography.
Their Copenhagen newborn photography session took place in their apartment, keeping everything simple and relaxed. Theresa selected a colour scheme of blues and ocean tones that worked beautifully with their home interior. We used their natural living space as the backdrop for all portraits, which helped create genuine, meaningful images.
During our session, I captured moments while Theresa was feeding the baby and spent time photographing the older siblings going about their usual activities. This unstructured approach allowed everyone to feel comfortable and resulted in authentic family portraits that truly reflect their daily life with a newborn.
