Wedding At the Rose Garden in Valbyparken

If you’re looking for a dreamy outdoor spot for wedding photos—or even the wedding itself—the Rose Garden in Valbyparken is such a gem. It’s one of the biggest parks in Copenhagen, and locals absolutely love it. As a photographer, I’m a huge fan of the beautiful tree-lined paths, the easy walk to the waterfront, and, of course, all that open green space where you can just relax and soak it all in.

Mie and Alexander picked this spot for their wedding portraits, and it couldn’t have been a better choice. After their church ceremony at Måløv Church, we headed over to Valbyparken for some laid-back couple photos. They had such a fun, youthful vibe—it was one of those effortlessly beautiful sessions. The park was quiet that afternoon, with soft autumn clouds overhead and the occasional appearance of sun. I snapped my last shots as they hopped into their old-school blue car, off to celebrate the rest of their big day.
