Summer Prenup photos in Copenhagen
During a short but unforgettable vacation from Florida, D + R arrived in Europe aboard a cruise ship and chose to make the most of their limited time by having a prenuptial photo shoot in Copenhagen. With only a few hours in the city, they wanted to capture a little slice of their love story in one of the most iconic and romantic spots Copenhagen has to offer.
It was a sunny weekday, and King’s Garden (Kongens Have) was buzzing with people and positive energy. Normally, I’d recommend avoiding this park during peak hours due to the crowds—but knowing how limited D + R’s time was, it turned out to be the perfect option.
We took a relaxed photo walk through the garden, exploring its many picturesque corners, from blooming flowerbeds to quiet (it’s still possible!) shaded paths. The result? A collection of intimate, joyful, and candid moments that truly reflected their connection.
Fun fact: Prenuptial photo traditions vary around the world! In my experience, Western couples—like D + R—often plan their engagement or prenuptial shoots during a special vacation, using the images for wedding invitations, save-the-dates, or simply to celebrate this chapter of their journey. In contrast, Asian couples, especially Filipinos, typically opt for a more formal prenup session as part of their wedding prep, often right before their civil ceremony. It’s always fascinating to see how different cultures celebrate love in their own unique way.
