Planning Couple photo session in Copenhagen

Planning photo sessions that are creative, cinematic, dreamy, or however else you describe them always warms my heart. A few months ago, I met Olia at a creative meetup where I discovered she's a talented graphic designer. It was then that I learned about her recent engagement to Boris and their plans to marry in Denmark. Despite the less-than-ideal weather at the time, they decided to wait a bit before their wedding and wanted to capture some engagement photos in the meantime. I knew right away that this would be a wonderful session— the couple envisioned something relaxed yet creative and were open to anything to achieve the best photoshoot results. Being myself, I suggested an early morning shoot (yes, Saturday mornings in Copenhagen can be so inspiring and ideal for capturing the city's iconic vibe!).

We met in one of the most picturesque places in Copenhagen’s old town—Magstræde, where we began our photo walk. I couldn't help but admire their free spirits and natural presence in front of the camera, especially considering it was my first time meeting Boris. We spent an hour exploring beautiful corners and concluded with a stop at one of the most popular cafes, Sonny, which provided another great location for a couple of extra photos. Afterward, I bid Olia and Boris farewell to enjoy their breakfast and the sunny day ahead in Copenhagen.
