Narrative Publish makes it easy for photographers to create stunning and SEO-friendly blogs with just a few clicks. If you've seen my blog before, you might have a question what tool I used to layout the photos —now you know the “secret” behind it: Narrative Publish! This tool seamlessly integrates with any website, offering a visually appealing display that loads quickly on any device.
How Much Does a Narrative Publish Cost?
Narrative Publish has 4 pricing plans, tailored to meet your specific needs. The free version, known as Publish Trial, allows you to dive into the platform, publish two blog posts, and experience features such as SEO integration and offline design capabilities. Paid options include Publish Lite at $6 USD per month (billed yearly), Publish Basic at $9 USD per month, and the comprehensive Publish Pro plan at $15 USD per month. The latter three plans differs from each other how many posts you can publish online. Compared to Publish Trial, they also grant you the ability to export image collages and posts as JPEG files.
Does a Narrative Publish Work on Squarespace or Wordpress?
As I mentioned earlier, Narrative Publish works on any website platform that supports embedding code. If your website doesn’t allow for code injection, you can still use the platform by exporting your blogs as JPEG’s. Just keep in mind that this feature is only available with paid plans.

nARRATIVE pUBLISH: hONEST oPINION
My journey with Narrative began in early 2019 when I stumbled upon it through the beautiful blogs created by photographer Julia Trotti. I was instantly hooked by the gorgeous layouts and the ease of use— I remember spending what felt like forever trying to arrange my photos into a flexible layout back then! Curious about simplifying my blogging process, I decided to try the free version. The simplicity and time-saving features quickly convinced me that upgrading to the premium plan was a must.
What really impressed me was how Narrative's SEO-friendly features took the hassle out of manually renaming each image on my site, putting title and meta descriptions. I know there’s always some debate in the photographer community about whether using such tools affects SEO, and while it’s true that having content natively on your site is ideal, Narrative Publish still saves you heaps of time. For wedding photographers like me, who deal with thousands of photos, it’s a lifesaver. And you can always complement your Narrative Publish galleries with a few images added directly to your website if you prefer.
