Helenekilde Badehotel is one of those places that just feels special every time I visit. Nestled on the breathtaking northern coast of Sjælland, it’s the perfect mix of cosy charm and stunning seaside views—a dream spot for an intimate wedding. One of the best things about this venue? Your guests can stay the night, turning your wedding into a full-on getaway. Win-win!
A + J tied the knot here in late autumn, catching the last bit of warmth before winter settled in. The wind had its own plans that day, but honestly, it only added to the magic—there’s something so romantic about the wild sea as a backdrop. I spent the late afternoon with Alex, getting ready with the help of the talented Tina, before they shared a heartfelt ceremony with their closest people. Afterwards, we moved straight into cake cutting (always a highlight!), a relaxed couples’ shoot, and a cosy three-course dinner, accompanied by speeches.
