I’m Ieva, and I’ve been photographing weddings across Denmark for the last six years. Bornholm has become one of my favourite places to photograph. The island has a slower pace, beautiful light, and so many quiet corners that are perfect for celebrating in your own way.
My approach is simple: I capture what actually happens. The moments between moments. How you look at each other when you think no one’s watching. The way your families interact. The real memories that make your wedding feel like yours.
I don’t believe in turning your wedding into a photoshoot. I’ll guide you when it helps, but mostly I let your day unfold naturally while documenting it as it happens. Most couples tell me they barely noticed I was there, and that’s exactly how I like to work.
Whether you’re planning a small ceremony at Rønne City Hall, an intimate elopement on the coast, or a full wedding celebration, I’ll help you make the most of Bornholm without your photography taking over the day.
After a city hall ceremony, I love wandering through the colourful streets of Rønne for a relaxed photo walk. The cobbled lanes, harbour, and old houses make a beautiful backdrop that feels timeless without trying too hard.
If you’re exploring the island by car, there are countless places worth visiting for a photoshoot: Hammershus Castle Ruins, Helligdomsklipperne, wander across the white sands of Dueodde Beach, or simply stop wherever the scenery catches our eye. Some of my favourite photographs happen in places that weren’t part of the plan at all.
